OECD
Secretary-General Donald Johnston is Saddened by the Death and Suffering
in South Asia. The consequences of the catastrophic tsunami
in South Asia touch all of us. Our thoughts go out to the victims
of this unimaginable tragedy and their families and friends. For
convenience, this link
provides access to a number of organisations to which you can contribute
to help the victims of this disaster.
New
OECD Online Bookshop to be Launched February 1, 2005. Customers
will notice immediate improvements in reliability, accessibility
and speed. New features include full-text searching and acceptance
of American Express in addition to Visa and MasterCard. All links
to the bookshop from the main OECD web site will be redirected to
the new bookshop site as of February 1, 2005. We have been unable
to transfer customer accounts from the old bookshop to the new bookshop,
so visitors will have to register as a new customer the first time
they use the new OECD Online Bookshop. Customers having purchased
pdf e-books and stored them on the old bookshop's bookshelf should
download these files before the old OECD Online Bookshop is closed
on February 28, 2005.
