Biography
Theodora Xenogiani worked at the Development Centre as an economist between 2005 and 2008. Within the Poverty Reduction and Social Development group she conducted economic analysis in the areas of labour markets (with a particular focus on informal employment), migration and gender equality. She now works for the Directorate for Employment, Labour and Social Affairs (ELS).
Prior to joining the OECD in 2005, Theodora worked in the Overseas Development Institute in London, the Centre for Research in Economics and Statistics in Paris and the Centre for Economic Performance in London. Theodora holds a PhD in labour economics from the London School of Economics. She has conducted research in various areas of labour and applied economics, such as female labour force participation, returns to skills, demand for education and migration.
