Biography

Denise Wolter was born in Germany. Her studies at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University focused on economics and political science. Thanks to a Fulbright Scholarship she was able to participate in the graduate program of political science at the University Florida in Gainesville from 2001 until 2002. She received her Master’s Degree in Political Science in 2006 at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University and her Master’s Degree in Economics followed shortly afterwards.

In 2006, Denise Wolter joined the OECD Development Centre as a Carlo Schmid Fellow. She is now part of the Business for Development team as a research associate. Currently, she is working on Aid for Trade and Agro-based Private Sector Development in Africa.
