Any copy made of the material must retain all copyright and other proprietary legends and notices in the same form and manner as on the original. Any use of textual and multimedia information (sound, image, software, etc.) in the website shall be accompanied by an acknowledgement of the source, citing the uniform resource locator (URL) of the page (Title of the material, © OECD, URL).
Disclaimers
2. INFORMATION ON THIS SITE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. The OECD makes every effort to ensure, but does not guarantee, the accuracy or completeness of the information on its website. Our goal is to keep this information timely and accurate. If errors are brought to our attention, we will try to correct them.
3. The OECD may add, change, improve, or update the information of the website without notice. The OECD reserves its exclusive right in its sole discretion to alter, limit or discontinue part of this site. Under no circumstances shall the OECD be liable for any loss, damage, liability or expense suffered which is claimed to result from use of this site, including without limitation, any fault, error, omission, interruption or delay. Use of this site is at User's sole risk.
4. Information contained in this website does not imply the expression of any opinion whatsoever on the part of the OECD Secretariat concerning the legal status of any country or of its authorities.
5. The mention of specific companies or certain products does not imply that they are endorsed or recommended by the OECD in preference to others of a similar nature that are not mentioned.
6. We make every effort to minimise disruption caused by technical errors. However some data or information on our site may have been created or structured in files or formats which are not error-free and we cannot guarantee that our service will not be interrupted or otherwise affected by such problems. The OECD accepts no responsibility with regards to such problems (failure of performance, computer virus, communication line failure, alteration of content, etc.) incurred as a result of using this site or any link to external sites.
7. If this site contains message or communication facilities, the User shall not do any of the following:
-
Defame, abuse, harass, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights of others;
-
Publish, post, distribute or disseminate any defamatory, infringing, obscene, indecent or unlawful material;
-
Upload or attach files that contain software of other material protected by intellectual property laws unless the User owns or controls the rights thereto or have received all necessary consents;
-
Upload or attach files that contain viruses, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of another's computer;
-
Upload, e-mail, transmit or otherwise make available unsolicited advertising of any goods or services, or conduct or forward surveys, contests, "spam" or chain letters; etc.
The User specifically acknowledges and agrees that the OECD is not liable for any conduct of any other User, including, but not limited to, the types of conduct listed above.
8. This site may contain advice, opinions and statements from external websites. Hyperlinks to non-OECD Internet sites do not imply any official endorsement of or responsibility for the opinions, ideas, data or products presented at these locations or guarantee the validity of the information provided. The sole purpose of links to other sites is to indicate further information available on related topics.
9. The OECD reserves the right to deny at its sole discretion any User access to this site or any portion thereof without notice.
10. For site security purpose and to ensure that this website remains available to all users, this website employs software programs to monitor network traffic to identify unauthorised attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage and to detect other possible security breaches.
Linking to the OECD Website(s)
11. In order to promote its work and because Internet is about linking, the OECD encourages a User who maintains an external website to include hyperlinks to the main OECD website, to any of its satellite website(s) or to any of their pages (collectively "the OECD website(s)"), on that external site without having to ask prior permission, except as limited by section 1 above and under certain conditions listed below.
These hyperlinks must not:
-
infringe OECD's rights, in particular relating to its logo, acronym and intellectual property rights;
-
be used for the promotion of an Organisation or company, or of any commercial products or services.
As a consequence,
-
any link to the OECD website(s) must appear clearly as such, i.e. with the complete and obvious OECD URL;
-
if you link to the OECD website(s), you must refrain from creating frames, or using other visual altering tools, around the OECD pages;
-
any "material" from the OECD website(s) exceeding 400 words should not be uploaded on a website external to the OECD. Permission to make a link to the said material can be granted, on the condition the OECD URL appears clearly, as specified above;
-
it is formally forbidden to make a direct link to the .pdf itself of our publications. Can only be granted a permission to make a link to the presentation page for this publication on the OECD main website ( www.oecd.org) or our Online Bookshop ( www.oecd.org/bookshop), on the condition the OECD URL appears clearly, as specified above;
-
you are asked, as far as they exist, to use the user-friendly URLs that you will find soon under the Site Map to make a link to the OECD website(s);
-
once you have created a link the OECD website(s), please test it to confirm it works and meet the above conditions and then notify us.
For any question about linking to the OECD website, please feel free to contact us, with all the necessary information, by sending an e-mail to the Webmaster account: webmaster@oecd.org.
The OECD Logo
12. The OECD logo should not be associated to any event, product or link to the OECD website(s) without the prior consent of the OECD. Requests for permission to use the OECD logo must be sent to the Webmaster account: webmaster@oecd.org. To be accepted, the request must be justified and be related to a specific event or product the OECD takes part in (conference, co-editions etc.). The OECD logo may be also posted on another website, besides a link to the OECD website(s). The permission is then granted only for this specific event/product or for this specific linking purpose and must not be used for any other purpose or any longer than required for the allowed purpose. Rigourous respect of the OECD corporate identity (in particular of the recommendations concerning colour and language) is required in the use of the logo. Only the most recent version of the OECD logo should be used at all times.
